I'm currently developing a google group for learning and teaching CG technologies.
The main purpouse is improving my standards through upgrading the italian standards.
it's called Vfx Italia (even if not deal only with vfx)
further news about it will be given.

a great talented guy located in italy.
from Eon site:
Italian artist Giacomo Costa was born in 1970 in Florence, where he currently resides. He works as part of an ambulance squad and a mountain rescue team during the winter months. Giacomo Costa’s artworks are displayed in galleries and sold to art collectors around the world. Giacomo told us how he started making 3D art, and how he uses Vue to create his fascinating urban vistas.

Blender used for Cover Illustrations of Mondadori Italian Book Publisher

This is an article take on Blendernation
Since October 2006, Enrico Valenza (EnV) has been really busy working as a cover illustrator for Mondadori. Using mainly a mix of 2D and 3D (of course, Blender and the GIMP) the results are fantastic!
